HDevelopment provides three levels of service: Construction, Client-Advocacy and Investment Services.
Construction Services
HDevelopment provides full-service commercial or residential construction on a designated site based upon an architect's completed plans. The firm’s construction service business has grown steadily through referrals, demonstrating the firm’s ability to work closely with a project team to produce results for our Clients and Design Partners.
Client Advocacy / Project Management
In addition to Construction Services, the firm also provides a fully-packaged approach in which HDevelopment acts as close client advisor and oversees the entire process of realizing a new residential or commercial building project. This approach is useful when a point person is needed to manage the overall project selection, design development, project team and final construction. In this role, HDevelopment provides the following services in addition to Construction Services:

• Negotiation Services
• Procurement of permits and licenses
• Budget Development and Management; Price Advisor
• Program Development
• Identification and selection of Design Team, including Architect, Landscape Architect, Interior Designer and other key contractors
• Chief Liaison and interface with Design Team
• Value Engineering and Project Management
Investment
HDevelopment sources investments throughout the Los Angeles area and packages those into opportunities to participate in a private real estate fund. These opportunities are by invitation only to a select group of contacts known to the firm.
Leadership
Jeff Gordon, Principal of HDevelopment, began his career in construction in 1999 as a Design Consultant and Project Manager for Jeff Gossett’s Moomba Restaurant and Nightclub, which soon became one of Hollywood’s most successful nightspots. In 2001, Mr. Gordon became a Managing Partner in LandVestment Construction, LLC, a firm that focused on ground-up construction of high-end, single-family residential homes located in Los Angeles’s Westside. During his tenure at LandVestment, Jeff raised in excess of $3 Million in privately syndicated equity. He managed the construction through sale of seven residential properties and produced a per-project average of 32% ROI to investors.
In November of 2006, Jeff founded HDevelopment and assembled a team that began to concentrate on restaurant and retail build-outs, commercial tenant improvements, multi-family and single family residential projects. Commercial clients of HDevelopment include Francis Properties Group, Perry Ellis International and Prolific Restaurant Partners.
Jeff has created an active niche through his comprehensive design and construction expertise in restaurant construction. As Principal and Owner of HDevelopment, he has overseen the design and/or construction of Magnolia II in Downtown Los Angeles, Bar Chloe in Santa Monica, The Rose Restaurant in West Hollywood, Primitivo Bistro in Venice, Magnolia in Hollywood, The Bar in Hollywood, and Caulfield’s in Beverly Hills.
Jeff is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. He resides in Venice CA with his son, Lucas.
